Yet another look at Hubble parameter discrepancy enigma: combining all measurements, especially void-galaxy cross-correlation and BAO scale ruler data (we may even include them along with Planck results but without assumption of flatness to make Universe closed positive curvature entity, which looks sexy to me instead of usual ΛCDM), already in 2020 we have reached 6σ. The most thorough review of proposed solutions could only state that tension exists, and its reasons are unknown.
When adding Lyman-α BAO at z=2.34, as Seshadri Nadathur, Will J. Percival, et al. did, one finds a rare intermediate-band estimate of Hubble parameter = 69.0±1.2.
Time (and space) shall tell whether their approach to forest management at mid-redshifts be favoured.
Hubble parameter tension is sure some hard nut to crack. And this is purrfect: phantom menace still can strike back, so cats might save the end of days.
