This dashboard presents one of the most beautiful examples in skeuomorphic design (tragically abandoned by UI developers) I have ever seen. Today their lookalikes are as rare as unicorns or cosmic strings. I intentionally use grandfathered skeuomorphic Android launcher (now also thrown away by developer and thus not properly optimized for Nougat and Oreo) on my phone, though ugly nature of cartoonish stock Android UI still surfaces in all system settings and notifications. Of course, apps are also excessively flattened: developers cling to Material Design guidelines under the relentless peer pressure from reviewers, bloggers and Google evangelists. All of this MD shit gives me eyesore, especially in the era of ultra high-definition phone displays, but due to cyclic nature of UX evolution skeuomorphism will probably rise again.
