Russo-American economist Oleg Itskhoki calms the so-called “friends of Ukraine” and opponents of Putinism in his fresh interview for investigative journalism portal iStories.

As the proxy WWIII in Ukraine enters the third year, sanctions against Russia continue to hurt mainly those who left the country, while Mr Itskhoki is still preaching

that the USA could suffocate Russia with ease, but they simply don’t see a reason to unleash the full-fledged economic crisis on it.

As Michel de Montaigne would have said,

having failed to achieve what they wanted, they pretended to wish for what they had achieved.

It would be funny had those farcical “sanctions against Russia” not wrought so many harm unto people who by their very nature should have become allies of West in this conflict.

Guriev, Aleksashenko, McFaul, Itskhoki, do you hear? All these curses shall come upon you, and shall pursue you, and overtake you.
