Meetings of the Senate dedicated to discussion of colourful Trump's picks, such as Tulsi Gabbard (picture-perfect act of trolling the hawks!), Pete Hegseth, or (I sincerely don't exclude) Tucker Carlson, will be absolutely priceless to watch. That being said, almost all his nominations are quite interesting when seen from across the pond, in the sense that these demonstrate his clear desire to shun all compromises with cadre which was busy shackling him during his first tenure almost from the start (remember United States v. Flynn, that quickly and masterfully sabotaged possible routes of detente with Russia? None such leghold traps anymore, I sense.) I mean Pompeo, Haley, and their ilk. Especially ominous (for neocons and Ukrainian matters) appears the nomination of Gaetz.
