I'm not especially interested in history of France, however methinks that Louis XIV couldn't miss such an opportunity. His reign still surpasses Elizabeth’s in terms of years served, but not of overall longevity.
All women in House Windsor tend to live very long, so Elizabeth seems aimed to beat him in that aspect, too. I can’t fathom another reason for what she still hadn’t abdicated in favor of poor Charles, who has some historical, as well as hysterical, chances to remain heir of the throne for all his life. ;)
