I think any illusions about reenactment of "surgically clean" departure of the Crimea were swayed already in 2014 and shattered in 2022, when the urbicide of Ukraine began.
Hardly any regions of Ukraine may be inclined to do so, looking at how wide a band of destruction and desolation across Donbass is developing due to idiotic Russia's frontal attacks on interconnected towns and cities of Donbass, where densely built-up urban areas are, in turn, used by UAF instead of proper fortifications the Western money had been supposedly allocated for. End result is the demolition of each subsequent redoubt, slowly but inexorably razed to the ground. Exceptions are few and far between.
But barring further active hostilities, I would say Odessa. After the loss of almost entire Donbass region, Odessa remains the last likely placeholder of Vendée in terms of possible brusque protest against Kiev authorities. In Odessa an infamous hecatomb of May 2, 2014 had happened, when anti-Maidan protesters were rounded up and burned alive by nationalistic mob,
a big part of city’s cultural legacy stemming from Russian Empire and Soviet eras is being erased unceremoniously round the clock, and, judging from what could be seined in the Telegram channels, it is Odessa where press gangers of Kiev government tend to harvest conscripts with a maximal brutality, on almost daily basis.
