I cover scientific and science fiction-related themes, preferably in Russian, as I'm a Russian expat, albeit sometimes in English. You probably have already noted this from glance upon my publications list. I'd recommend rarely-quoted in the West Russia in Global Affairs, their translations are generally slow, but thorough. In historical perspective, looking backward at the pre-WWII attempts to cement trans-Eurasian bloc, I urge you to read fairly interesting, unorthodox books by Vassili Molodyakov from Takushoku University (拓殖 大学), though I'm not sure whether English translations are available (he writes in Russian and Japanese).
