For now, dances around the redline seem to be cut short. I’d say my bet has won. Nothing critical for further functioning of humanity, or even Kvartal 95 Studio, was observed. Two ICBMs, predictably devoid of nuclear warheads, fell on Dnepropetrovsk city in Ukraine. Interestingly enough, the very plant where such ICBMs were once designed and built, has been hit. Moreover, it happened on the 11th anniversary of the beginning of the Second Maidan uprising.
Such a move is, beyond doubt, pretty symbolic, and I would think that Russia will be satisfied with this at the current level of the flower war; however, Zelensky appears very disappointed because of absence of warheads, and he's already begging for Tomahawks.
All the while, the Dnepropetrovsk incident possesses much interest as the first registered use of ICBMs in modern wars, beyond the testing grounds.
