Confinement measures

Taking a doomed attempt to confine the avalanche of critical arrows directed at Biden, Antony Blinken on Monday produced the following pearl:

If you look at surveys around the world, for what they’re worth, you see it again and again and again, that confidence in American leadership has gone up dramatically over the last 3–1/2 years.

I never had a doubt about Mr. Blinken in the sense that he appears, and probably is, the most intellectually proficient among the Biden’s camarilla, despite being still a faithful neocon Democrat. At least, he aspires to the condition of music.

The words accented in bold only support this. Nevermind a tattered coat upon a big stick diplomacy: Blinken simply can’t be so caught up in studying monuments of Dems’ magnificence that he misses the singing school. A cover of Hey, hey LBJ may, however, emerge as the hit of the season. Remember, students always return in the fall.

The purpose of obstacle that Biden’s campaign has turned into shall be its removal, not an aggravation of symptoms. The gate becomes no nearer if the gatekeeper discards the key after leaving his post for a vigil.

However, it’s not entirely clear whether Blinken understands that the decision to expel RFK Jr wasn’t worth it. Hope he does, because the very numbers of RFK Jr’s stream stats should suffice.

There may come a day when the CNN debate panel decriminalizes ménage à trois.

Disclaimer incoming: I’m not an American citizen and so not eligible to vote in November during your elections, but had I had a right to do so, even greater confidence about taking a third option (RFK Jr & Shanahan) I would develop.

The reason of more than a passing interest of mine to your grave political crisis in statu nascendi is quite simple.

For many countries in Europe, their political entité and subjectness have eroded so much that volens nolens a rapt attention to games of shadows in the cave of the Imperial Republic across the pond is required, just to prevent humpty-dumpties of atlanticism from falling.

I’d call that a sort of quantum Zeno effect in the politics of the EU, Russia, Israel, and unfortunate limitrophe states stuck in dire straits between.
