At this stage of conflict, Russia is weakened already to the point when nobody interests in its desires about Zelensky. This is not to say that Zelensky brings any net profit to his country. Quite a contrary, Ukraine suffers irrecoverable losses with every day of him staying in power. But as long as the West agrees to keep on oxygen support Ukrainian long-dead economy, minuscule on world scale, nothing serious can happen to Zelensky. Needless to add he's also perfectly safe from people's wrath.
